Would you not make your pricing as simple as possible?
Surely yes…
In this case not.
BT use a very complicated way of calculating your bill.

Here is an example of the calculations – I will go into more details at a later date.
Calls under 1 minute: Call = < 1 = time (in mins) * ppm – if less than cap price use calculation otherwise use cap.
Calls greater than 1 but less than 60 minutes: Call =< 60 = time (in mins) * ppm – unless capped then use cap if less than 60.
Calls greater than 60 minutes: Call > 60 = time (in mins) * ppm.
